Terms of use
These are the rules for using Lopency. They are written to be read, so please do. Using the service means you accept them.
Last updated 15 August 2026.
01What this service is
Lopency is an exchange. You earn points by supporting other members’ work on the platforms you have connected, and you spend points to have members support yours.
It is not an advertising service and not a guarantee of results. What you buy is other people’s attention for a moment, offered voluntarily. Nobody is obliged to like anything, and we do not promise any particular number of actions, any speed, or any effect on your standing anywhere.
02Who can use it
You must be at least 16, able to enter an agreement, and not barred from the service by us or by law.
One person, one account. Running more than one is the single thing most likely to get you suspended, because it is how somebody pays themselves.
03Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think somebody else has it. You can sign out of every browser at once from your settings.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. We will never ask for your password on any other platform, and nobody legitimate ever will.
04Connecting your profiles
Before you can order work on a platform you have to connect a profile there and prove it is yours, by placing a one-time code somewhere only its owner can edit. On the platforms that block automated checks, a person reads it instead.
Connect only profiles you actually control, and order work only on your own posts. Ordering engagement on somebody else’s work is not permitted, whatever your reason.
05Points
Points are a way of keeping score inside Lopency. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred, sold or exchanged for anything outside the service, and are not a stored-value or payment instrument.
An order costs at least 2 points per action. Of every point spent, 50% is kept by the service and the rest is paid to the member who did the work.
Points you buy are non-refundable once issued, since they can be spent immediately. Unspent points held against a cancelled order return to your balance.
06The other platforms, and your responsibility on them
Lopency is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Dribbble, Behance, Medium, ArtStation, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok or YouTube, and their names are used only to say where a piece of work lives.
Each of those platforms has its own terms, and you are responsible for keeping to them. Some restrict or prohibit engagement arranged elsewhere. Read the rules of the platforms you use and decide for yourself whether to take part. We cannot and do not accept responsibility for action taken against your account by any of them.
Every action here is performed by a person, by hand, on work they chose. Nothing on this service automates an action for you, and using any tool that does is prohibited under clause 7.
07What is not allowed
Do not:
- hold more than one account, or create accounts for other people
- automate, script or fake any action, or claim work you did not do
- connect a profile you do not control
- order work on posts that are not yours
- refer yourself, or arrange referral loops between accounts you control
- interfere with the service, its limits, or other members’ use of it
- use the service for anything unlawful, or to promote it
08Checking, and what happens when it does not hold up
Points are paid the moment you confirm, and a share of completed work is re-examined afterwards. How often depends on how long your account has been reliable.
Work that does not hold up is reversed: the points are removed and your trust score falls. Repeated failures lead to suspension. Where an account is suspended for breaking these terms, any remaining points may be forfeited, since they were obtained through the conduct that caused the suspension.
09Paying for points and plans
Balance is added by transfer, which you send yourself and we credit against the reference you give us. Nothing is credited before the money arrives, and we credit what actually arrived rather than what was requested.
Plans run for the period you buy and do not renew automatically. Ending a plan stops its benefits; it does not refund the period already paid for.
10Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to.
Because points have no cash value, closing an account does not create a right to payment for any points held.
11What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular outcome for your work.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or opportunities, or for anything another platform does to your account there. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12Changes
We may change these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be notified in the product before they take effect, and the date at the top always says when they were last revised. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the revision.
13Who you are agreeing with
The service is operated by Lopency. Reach us at hello@lopency.com.
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator is established, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
See also our privacy policy, which explains what we hold about you and why.
Questions about any of this go to hello@lopency.com, and we would rather you asked than guessed.
