Browser helper
Install it once, and tasks finish themselves
The helper opens the work, watches for the action you actually took, pays you and closes the tab. It is how earning is confirmed, so you need it to complete tasks. Placing orders works from any browser without it.
Same as 1.4.0, minus one permission the helper never used. Nothing changes in how it works.
Installing it
Chrome stopped allowing extensions to be installed straight from a download in 2014, so this takes a few steps rather than one. It is the same in Brave and Edge. Worth it once: after this the helper runs by itself.

Unzip the download
You should end up with a folder containing manifest.json. Keep it somewhere permanent: deleting it removes the extension.

Open your extensions page
Paste chrome://extensions into the address bar. In Brave it is brave://extensions, in Edge edge://extensions.

Turn on Developer mode
The switch is in the top right of that page.

Press Load unpacked and pick the folder
Choose the folder itself, not the zip and not a file inside it.

Say no when Chrome offers to turn it off
Chrome asks about developer-mode extensions when it starts, sometimes weeks later. Choosing to disable them switches the helper off, and it is not obvious afterwards that anything has changed.
Then open your settings and connect it. The helper cannot see your account, or do anything at all, until you do.
What it can and cannot do
- It runs only on the nine platforms we support and on Lopency itself. It is not loaded anywhere else.
- It never sees your password on any platform, because it never asks for one. Nobody legitimate ever will.
- It signs in with a token you generate and can revoke, not with your session.
- It cannot perform an action for you. It watches you do it, which is the entire point.
